Our  Director



Karla Callaway

      Our Director is Karla Callaway.  Karla has been a member of Sweet Adelines for over 25 years and has been  in many different roles in chorus life including Director, Assistant Director, Vocal Specialist, Show chairman and Committee, Tape Evaluator, Section Leader, Assistant Choreographer and chorus member.   She directed a successful small chorus in region 24 (Portland Oregon area) for 4 years before moving to Texas.   Karla has also sung in several competitive and Champion Quartets as well as served on the regional faculty, coached choruses and quartets and provided vocal instruction to many students.

    Karla is a strong proponent of team work and understands that success is built by empowering each member to make an investment into the health and growth of the chorus.
